A Dead Star by Karla Marie M. Roldan

It is gone.
Those intimate eyes
that stares like

It is gone.
That bright smile
that transcends
like a laserbeam

It is gone.
That careful hands
that holds me
like a thief.

It is gone.
That sweet voice
that brought me
to peace.

It is gone.
the eyes, the smile
the hands, the voice
They are all gone.

It is gone.
It is not the same
And I think it will never be.
It is beautiful but it is gone.

It is gone –
A dead star I always look up to.
A dead star that left my heart
holding on to what is lost.
